Does anyone know if this is an error coin it is very thin and no reeding only copper on edge looks like it could be . its hard to discribe Please look at my pictures and let me know what you think your opioun will be appriciated

Could it have gotten caught in something to produce this much wear? Or are the wear marks obviously from a sander?

it could have been used as some sort of shim also. sad thing but I have seen worse things happen to coins.

what I dont understand is the center of coin isn't worn as much looks like a ring around edge

The abrasion marks make it an obviously damaged coin. Why it wears a certain way after it is damaged is anyone's guess. It is not an error coin, that's for sure:-)
