Not precisely a "junk bin" find, but this just was kicking around in a box of unsorted material. It's .500 fine, a bit irregular in shape with a diameter of about 15 to 16 mm. Weight comes in at .57 of a gram. 1596 was the last year this particular type was struck.

The abbreviated legend on the obverse translates as "Maximillian II, by the grace of God Elected Emperor of the Romans, forever Monarch, King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia."
The reverse depicts the Madonna as Patroness of Hungary.
