Was at work the other day and had to open a roll of quarters and I opened it and they were all 2003 mint state Illinois State Quarters. I picked out a few of the best looking ones and this was one. Looks double and possibly die crack on the "w" in "in god we trust" as wel

Note the striation lines? That is caused by die movement on the coin. MD.

Do you know the correct area to look for a doubled die obverse on the States and ATB Quarters? They are found 98% of the time on the earlobes:
2003-Illinois-State-Quarter-Doubling
Because the way the newer dies are created, the location of doubled dies are in the central design areas on both sides of these coins. But for the obverse, the earlobe is the area to check. Looking is other areas if usually looking for something that is not a doubled die on this series. (Only two dies found on these quarters are the exception of the rule) One for each series. One is a proof coin, the other is a Philly coin.
