Do you know the correct area to look for a doubled die obverse on the States and ATB Quarters? They are found 98% of the time on the earlobes: Because the way the newer dies are created, the location of doubled dies are in the central design areas on both sides of these coins. But for the obverse, the earlobe is the area to check. Looking is other areas if usually looking for something that is not a doubled die on this series. (Only two dies found on these quarters are the exception of the rule) One for each series. One is a proof coin, the other is a Philly coin.
