TheDeductible Pillar of the Community Canada 851 Posts	Posted 05/27/2019 8:17 pm Time to show off my awesome examples of the 1894 Twenty Cent obverse 1 and obverse 2. The easiest marker I know is the shape of the queens forehead. In the earliest version of the coin the forehead is more rounded at the top whereas obverse 2 has a flatter less sloped curve to the forehead. It can be hard to see the difference. Much like the difference between Vicky large cent Obv 1 & 2. The #1 touches and points directly to the "O". The #2 has a large gal and it points to the gap between the "O" and the "F".
