Hello all
Thought would add some query to your daily todo's. If interested, see how many of these you can identify by year/mint/denomination given the image provided. Although some may appear at first glance to have multiple correct answers, only 2 really do. Correct answers will be posted 1 week hence if all 10 are not answered by then. First to answer all or the most will be the week's dedicated pro. Happy hunting!

Nice idea. are you expecting us to all shout out answers and spoil it for the next person, or just to self identify, or what? I don't want to ruin this great topic.

I'll take a stab at a couple of the easy ones - I assume you're looking for variety as well:
#2 pic = 1917 SLQ Type 1
#4 pic = 1857 Flying Eagle broken wing tip

#3 pic = 1870 or 1873 no arrows CC Quarter?
#5 pic = 1844 O Double Date Half Dollar - This is a transitional reverse die with the 1845-O (WB-2) but this is an earlier die state than the 1845.
#10 pic = 1877 S (WB-38 die marriage) and 1878 S (WB-1) Half Dollar, transitional reverse die.

#2 - Standing Liberty quarter with single hair curl should be a 1916?

#4 - Flying Eagle cent with broken wing and die chip below the eagle is an 1858/7.

#1 is 1888/7 Indian Head cent. That die break in the dentils...
and #2 is 1916, all the markers are there.
#6 is an 1880 Shield nickel
#7 is 1893 S Morgan dollar. That was tough.
#8 I think is 1854 O huge O variety.
#9 is an altered 1858 Flying Eagle cent made to look like an 1856
I edited to add all of my replies into one.

Thank you for participating. Will wrap up early, looks like all except 2 were ID'ed successfully, including the toughest. Kudos to all but pro award has to go to Big Silver, who ID'ed the most. Noticeably, these are all markers for rarer classic coins. Correctly they are:
1) 1888/7 IHP
2) 1916 SLQ
3) All CC 25c years 1870, 71, 72, and 73
4) 1858/7 FE
5) 1844-O RPD 50c
6) 1880 5c (biz strike)
7) 1893-S $1
8) 1854-O huge O 25c
9) 1857 FE (altered)
10) 1878-S or 1877-S 50c

If yoi refer to the NGC article, it says that altered 1856 was from an 1858, not 1857. I don't know how they know that or certain, but that is what it says.
