Not sure what the issue is with the lower left wheat stalk, but your coin is a doubled die reverse so certainly worth keeping.

Armywife111701, don't toss that coin! It's a genuine DDR as tropicalbats said. Now you need to try to match it here. https://coppercoins.com/diesearch.phpCongratulations on your first Doubled Die! I bet you didn't even know you had one! Strong extra thickness shows on the EPU.

Maybe closer images of the EPU might help to ID this coin to see if it is listed or not?

Tough call on the reverse. I didn't find a match on Variety Vista. The die state is making it harder to see where the DDR is leaving off and the extreme die wear is setting in?

Actually a better set of images would be more helpful. Hard to tell what is going on there yet?

For learning purposes. Is it a DDR because of the EPU being thicker in areas of the letters, or irregular and is that the only areas of "doubling"? I try and look through these threads to try and figure out what I keep getting confused between MD DD lol I've seen some coins like this but thought they were just flattened from ware.

It is a DDR. The last images are a lot better. I'll check it tomorrow.

Novice, While the actual thickness and specific character varies between individual dies, most class 6 reverse doubled dies are first spotted by looking in the upper left. The dot won't be round but oval, and the crossbars of the L and U will be too thick. This example is fairly strong and shows what to look for when you are first figuring out how to spot these areas of thickness. There's more going on, but this is a good place to start looking to know when to pull a coin for further inspection.

Variety Vista DDO-001 http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...6PDDR001.htm1936 1¢ WDDR-019 http://doubleddie.com/333101.htmlThe clues for this one was the shape of the 'L' that looked like a hockey stick tapering at the top. The shape of the top loop of the 'R' (circular) and the shape of the top of the 'B' on Pluribus (reduced smaller). With the better images, I was able to spot these three items. You might compare you coin for markers on the sites to see if anything matches. (a slim chance, but sometimes they still remain) I didn't see a match on coppercoins.
