Helloooo good people...never seen edging on this Quarter. The edge is protruding over the copper in the middle. This is all the way around the coin.

What kind of error?
What creates this?
Does it bring value to the coin?

Not an error coin, PSD. It probably looks like this from being dipped in acid. If it is, then the weight wouldn't be the same. Acid will reduce the size of the coin. Value is 25 cents unfortunately.

Yes looks to have been bathed in acid. I would expect that the fields look rough and this coin would be underweight. It is a little odd that only one side protrudes over the middle. Perhaps the same person who bathed this coin also filed one side down?

Yes...it is rough and does look like acid now that I look at the fields. Thanks
I have a dime I'm about to post that seems to be an interesting error.
