Hi
This dime has horizontal raised lines in the fields between the torch and the plants only. They seem to go under the torch to the plants only...without effecting the torch shaft nor plants.

Plus a little MD or DD on the upper right of the shaft.

Error?
How?

I think you have Feeder Finger Scrapes. The upper right shaft shows Machine Doubling.

Either that or die scratches from polishing.

Keep in mind, the fields are the highest point on the dies. You have to think of the die as a flat surface that's full of depressions. The coin is the opposite of the die. That's how the scratches appear on the fields and not on the leaves or the torch.

The treasure is knowing what it is. Save it for now until you get a stronger one so you can show it to new collectors and explain what it is and that is is not a collectable error for a premium. Just a die event. (The die was altered by damage by the feeder fingers) Polishing can remove it from the die. (also another die event)
