Would this be worth getting graded? From what I see on PCGS CoinFacts it can reach high numbers in any grade. What do you think?

Ok. I'll make sure I carefully think about what I do before I send off any coins. Thanks!

Definitely not worth having graded in that condition, especially given the damage.

I'd grade it as FR-02.
If it's an 1824/2 (flat top 1) Capped Bust Dime then it's worth about $10-20.
Definitely NOT worth getting graded.

it never hurts to ask. Most capped bust variety collectors go into the game with the bucks necessary to purchase decent examples of any of them. Type collectors usually buy the best grade they can afford. Lower quality varieties are often overlooked by both hunting groups.
