.....anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Fry? Ok enough Ferris references, anyone have any thoughts on this? Seems like a real "hey how'ya doin'?" kind of doubling coming off the bottom branch of the furthest left tree. I'd love to get some input. I'm including a standard photo from PCGS as baseline reference. Thanks!!

I think it's more like the floating extra trees on some of the Minnesota DDR varieties. But that's me, I definitely need more input. Thanks!

I'm thinking die chip or gouge as well.

I don't believe I've seen any doubling so far from the center on these newer quarters (because of the shape of the die blanks, single-squeeze doubled dies are only at the center of the design unless it's extra thickness, Class VI-like DD). Note how the Minnesota extra trees are ONLY around that one tree directly in the center of the coin.

I don't think die chip as those don't form in the fields. That's why I went gouge. It can't be a DDR because it match the shape of an nearby devices to be doubling
