I recently came upon a 1920 dime that appears to be double die or double struck. I can't tell which or if its neither. There is quite dramatic doubling on the obverse on the top left of the "wing" and the top of the head. There is slight doubling on the lettering near the edge that is most pronounced in the I and T of liberty. There is also a line just inside and parrallel to the rim on both sides. The reverse has doubling most pronounced in the I of United and the I of America. What kind of error is it. Hopefully some-one knows. This thing wont upload a picture, sorry. Thanks for any help. Nobody can tell you anything about the subject without an image. Sad, but true, that it is impossible to explain it well enough in words to clarify either way. Only an image can tell.
