Hmmmm, call me a stinker but I sense mischief on this one. There was an era when lots of lads had way too much time on their hands. Have you ever seen some of the better "obscene" cents of the Victorian series when some genius or his brother years ago left his handiwork on the E of CENT? I have a number of these here and some are stunning in their craftsmanship. With years to tone any carelessness the coins still retain some shock value.
