Not gonna lie, this one is about 100 years too new for me, but still interesting enough for me to scoop it up.
I have no idea how common these types of errors are (especially this dramatic) for this year, and as such would appreciate some incite, and perhaps est.value.
The error type is common, the degree to which yours shows, is uncommon. Given the colour inside the lamination, this happened a long time ago... and the grade looks decent (AU).
A coin like that, if I was a coin show, I can envision a $50 price tag on the coin (and offering $40).... it would be worth considerably more if you had both pieces.
