That is a US Commemorative Coin and was issued in 1925. (Assuming it is not a reproduction)
The box is not original to the coin, likely a marketing gimmick to sell these at a higher price.

They were originally distributed in a box similar to that, but that box does not look like an original one. The coin has also either been cleaned or it may even be a fake. It doesn't look right.

I would like to see close up of obverse and reverse, with nothing else in between the frames...If real might be worth grading....

The coin looks over polished, but genuine. Sad. The box? Perhaps a fake since those I've seen are a bit darker. From the environment in which they were stored or age?
