I cant tell if it was man made or what but there is a crack from his left eyebrow over the top of his head to about the middle of his head its a fine marking so harder to photograph

I agree with you, it is not an easy task to capture a die crack, need to tame your lighting you need just a right angle to shoot it.

That is called channeling. If happened on the dies back then to strengthen the design outline.

Happened on coins in that era. Good read though. As the dies were polished several times, then that engrave mark disappeared off the die. You just seeing what is left. No premium.
