I was one of those that placed duplicate orders due to the site issues and still not sure if I'll keep the extra one. If I really end up liking the look of the ASE I may end up just keeping it. If you did not request a cancellation, it was cancelled because the item(s) are no longer in our inventory and are not available for backorder. What do you make of that? I most certainly did not cancel the order. Are they really out? I have a hard time believing that. I am not particularly bothered, my wife was already giving me the business over my buying them... But that's pretty bad for the Mint to have canceled an order when there were other orders fulfilled that were received after the canceled one. Not good for business or customer relations.... Darth Morgan Pillar of the Community United States 2815 Posts	Posted 07/05/2019 7:28 pm I placed an order for one at 2:15 PM today, and I received an order confirmation e-mail within 5 minutes. The status was BACKORDERED when I added it to my cart and completed the purchase. Maybe I'll get a cancellation message too. I don't collect silver eagles, but I bought the 2011 RP and the 2013 EU. Boy, those are exquisite works of art. That's why I wanted this one. IMO, the design is bland on regular bullion, but these special ASE strikes are stellar.
