coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/14/2019 5:47 pm Just a die damage issue/dent/gouge on the date areas. It doesn't appear to be a RPM issue to me because the shape is not looking like a punch from a mintmark puncheon. Note it moves in the direction of the die flow in that area. So while it may have started off as a line, the flow is marking it look like something else. This die was polished that removed the flow lines that would have been there. (Probably a clash removal issue) But not the die wear above the motto, it tells me it is in the LDS die state when this coin was struck. A nice coin. There is a nice split lower serif on the mintmark but finding a match for it is often hard to identify. If Wexler had all his listings public, then we might have been able to figure out what number he had it attributed it as. CONECA probably won't list it as they tend to list more of the stronger RPMs. Coppercoins is showing some activity, but nothing about accepting submissions yet. So keep safe for now.
