How Much Does Writing On A Note Decrease The Value ?

One is easily 63 the other has someone's initials written on the otherwise choice note. It's not noticeable at first glance, but it's there. For me it was a deal breaker, I couldn't bring myself to buy them at any reasonable price. The seller was offering quite a discount. Personally, I would not buy that low serial number bill even with a 50% discount because low serial number bills are not that rare. In every run of ten million notes there are 9 single digit low numbers and 9 solid radar, that's quite comparable. There is more demand for solid radars, thus they command a higher price. It's all a matter of personal preference, I find it interesting that you would not discount a 8888888 for writing while I do not really want a 0000001 note with writing for my collection.
