In every run of ten million notes there are 9 single digit low numbers and 9 solid radar, that's quite comparable.
There is more demand for solid radars, thus they command a higher price.
It's all a matter of personal preference, I find it interesting that you would not discount a 8888888 for writing while I do not really want a 0000001 note with writing for my collection.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
