I have always checked my pocket change from when I was a kid until now. I am 40 yrs old. Haven't found a lot but I was always looking for the LWC and bicentennial quarters. Wasnt until about 10 yrs ago I started searching my change for silver. Now with my accumulated coins I will need to some close up investigating. I have been trying to sort my red cents from the brown/toned cents judging gradeable or not. That's pretty much my story and the oldest coin I have found in my change is 1911 LWC. I buy morgans peace and silver eagles.
