Can someone please help me identify these foreign coins and whether they hold any value other than face?
Thank you for any and all input

1. Italy 500 Lire 1994 (commemorative issue, demonetised) Small collector value according to Numista:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces715.html
2. France 10 francs 1991 (demonetised)
3. UK 50 pence 1997, current circulating coin, value approx. 63 US cents
4 and 5. France 20 centimes 1982 and half franc 1966, both demonetised
6. UK 2 pence 1977, current circulating coin, worth a bit more than 2 US cents
7. Switzerland 1975 20 rappen, current circulating coin, worth approx. 20 US cents
8 and 9. France 1 franc 1966 and 10 centimes 1976, both demonetised
10. Switzerland 1959 10 rappen, current circulating coin, worth approx. 10 US cents
11 and 12 France half franc 1977 and 1977, both demonetised

The demonetised pre-Euro French coins are practically valueless in circulated condition and are the sort of coins most dealers would throw into their junk trays or sell in bulk. Fun holiday souvenirs though!

I agree--looks like the contents of a pants pocket for a 1990s American tourist following a few weeks on holiday in Europe.

Welcome to CCF...you should pick up a basic world coin guide and go through matching the coins to the countries. This will build your skill level. You could loosen up the currency or country name as listed on the coin. Knowledge is power.
