Normally produced on heavily worn dies, these are tough to find in red and in any decent quality. I also kind of liked the obv filled die in the motto. When I first looked at the coin I couldn't see GOD on it!

Does the odd rim shape on the obverse affect grade at all?

The rim doesn't effect the grade because there's no hits to it.

I can't stump Chris at all! LOL He knows his Lincolns! This is an MS63 coin. It's nicer looking than the one in my main collection (AU brown), but the strike issues put it into my "error and oddities" section. I'm keeping my very sharply struck coin in my main collection.
