1971 Canadian Penny With Beading And Other Errors

Hi, I don't know much about coins so I'll try to explain this as best I can. I was going through a bunch of old pennies I have and I came across this 1971 Canadian penny that looks quite different from other 1971 pennies.

The whole design is thicker than normal (letters, numbers, leaves). Sorry, I don't know the proper terminology. Also, there is no beading around the edges. I've attached some pictures that hopefully show what I mean.

Any info on the value of this coin would be greatly appreciated.

it looks like it was soaked in acid. If you give us the weight it would confirm my strong suspicions.

Looks like it spent time in a rock tumbler.Quite possibly a metal detectorist's find.
