I just pulled this one from a bank roll. What do you think it will grade? The only wear is obviously on his head but none on the back. Still has original luster. If you want more specific pics, let me know and I'll get them for you. The edge looks brand new and no machine damage anywhere on the coin. The details are all there on both sides. I couldn't get a good shot of his hair bc it wouldn't focus but it has good detail also. The eagle has the breast feathers going up pretty high....it's the best 1966 coin I've ever found so I wanted some opinions from you guys1966-Washington-Quarter.-Looks-Like-It's-Never-Been-Out-Of-A-Roll

Does the wear on his face hurt it that bad? I thought it was more about the details?

I don't know this for certain, but I think it's about the lines through the hair on the obverse and the wings, tail and branch (or log or whatever) on the reverse.

Again, I'm not %100, but that's my guess.

Btw, I think it's a really cool looking coin. I'd personally save it in a collection and let it gain value over time.

If you pay $40? To send it to PCGS and grades MS63 it would retail for $1.

It is a circulated quarter. It's worth .25c
Rest in Peace

Unable to grade from these pics - obverse surface detail unclear.

Bathe it in Acetone and if you get back mint luster...maybe worth a couple bucks...save it for your grandkids..

Edited: circulated coin? ..look at the reeds, just because it was found in a bank roll doesn't automatically make it a circulated coin
