Cherrypicked this one off ebay for $3. Terrible shape, but luckily the date area is the only spot without issues so the MPD is easily visible and easily photographed.

Also, note the slanted line in the denticles between the 1 and the 8 is the misplaced 1. I think most people may miss that on lower grade examples.

Couldn't go wrong for only $3 and adds a new listing to my site. It's also the first date in denticles MPD I've bought. I found a 1890 MPD in a dealers 2x2 bin at a coin show a while back that was similar to this one, but I used up most of my coin show budget on that 1908 Barber dime RPD I posted, so I had to pass on it.

I put this one up as CRMD-001: http://crdievarieties.com/doku.php?...8871ccrmd001

Thoughts, opinions, how'd I do?

The trick for cherry picking is to find ones in great shape. Still fun though and I can't resist them either.

Nice one! $3 sounds good to me. I'm going to try to Cherrypick a MPD at my next LCS run or Coin show trip, but I have a feeling the Denticles are going to make it tough to identify MPDs through.
