If I may give my honest opinion... I went to the link, and that doesn't strike me as remotely "choice uncirculated" Here's the (enlarged, lightened) pic for others to easily see--feel free to correct me. (If I were to be suspicious, I'd suspect the coin is cleaned too) A $10 coin tops. And here's a coin I sold a while back for $15. This is a good XF45+ BN. Which looks better?

Just checked your link and I change my answer to no. Their usage of the term CU is to indicate circulated condition NOT choice uncirculated!

Ah..ok, circulated, but possibly cleaned (reverse) and priced $20 too much (imo) Quote: check here and look at his other 1909's; I've heard of this seller before, and he has good feedback on our ebay "recommended sellers" forum. However, I think $50 for that coin is still a bit high.

That is a tad on the high side was using it as a comparison, Dave is usually fairly accurate as to grade, might be marked up due to hype! There are others listed at more reasonable pricing.

Well you could take a chance on a less than reputable dealer in an auction situation, and pay higher shipping. You might get a better deal, also you might not. You could also post your request on the Numismatic Items You Want To Buy Here thread, and see if some one here has one to sell you!

I would suspect that cu meant copper not Choice Uncirculated.
