@7C, best practice is to create a new thread for each new coin that you post, but don't stress about it this time. Your most recent post looks like a Braided Hair cent, which was produced by the US mint between 1839 and 1857. The date would be below the bust on the front of the coin and we might be able to help narrow down the date range if you can provide a really clear close-up of that area.
