Hey @bobby, just a thought for you here.

You and the mods must see three or four "report this post to the staff" messages from me every day. In each case, I type in the recommendation/rationale (e.g. "duplicate post by OP", "recommend moving this thread to the US modern coin variety and error section of CCF", or whatever. I'm happy to help keep the threads in the right category or otherwise alert you folks to an issue.

My request is that you change this comment box to improve its user functionality. Specifically, I wonder if you could make the list to include checkboxes. In other words, if I am reporting spam, then I just click on the little circle next to the word "spam" and then "submit". If it is a request to move a thread, then it would be fine to have a pull-down menu of the five or ten most often mis-categorized threads (I'm thinking that US modern coin variety and error must be at the top of the list) as long as there is still an option to write in a category that isn't listed. My concern about having a complete pull-down list of every ccf category is that most of them would be virtually never chosen and so would just add to the complexity of the interface. Adding this functionality would reduce the number of keystrokes required by me to get you the information that you need.

Thank you for considering this.

Ok thx @jbuck. I'm glad to know that he is taking it under advisement. I agree that it would require some sort of recoding, but honestly don't have a clue as to whether it is a big deal or an easy patch.
