Doesn't look like it to me, just damage. But I'll wait for someone else more knowledgeable to give their opinion.

The mintmark looks to be close in position for 001 but with this amount of circulation damage and wear a positive id may not be possible

Excuse my spelling the ball is in the bottom so it would be IMM-001. Right?

No, it has to be the ball serif mintmark style to be IMM-001, yours is the trumpet tail style. See the variety vista links I posted before.

Variety Vista 1946-S RPM-001 is the same as coppercoins 1946S-1mm-001 http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20L...6SRPM001.htmhttp://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsI know this guy. LOLMost of the lower numbers are the same for the Two sites. Why? Because the coppercoins site used the numbers from the original RPM (Orange book) book. When they reached the end of this publications listing, then they added their new numbers. (Some years they had duplicates in the book and these were removed from their listings. Mostly 1972 year Denver examples)
