The reason I ask You know you can hold it up and see a guy in between the front and back of the note right? Who is that guy on the 5 doesn't look like lincoln. Many stamps from the 1800s incorporated watermarks on the reverse of the stamp and it is frequently found on checks as well. BTW, it is a watermark of ol' Abe himself Report this Post to the Staff
