woodcr Valued Member United States 403 Posts	Posted 07/03/2019 7:37 pm I will have a new phone next week. My present phone is so many generations back it does little and very different from this phone that I am getting. I would appreciate some info on best settings to use that this site accepts. I know it does jpeg and I will have to learn all features, some info would be helpful if anyone knows. Report this Post to the Staff

JimNWLincoln Pillar of the Community United States 906 Posts	Posted 07/11/2019 3:40 pm Place the phone on a stack of books (or other object) so it is steady and camera lenses is directly over the coin. Set the phone to take pictures with a voice command - ie smile, capture etc... you could also look for a tripod or other method to hold the camera steady while you take the photo without touching the camera (which introduces some shake).
