Just trying to find out since I'm new to coins why a coin, especially this coin would be missing a date and if it's even worth anything possibly? Thanks.

@SD1347, first welcome to CCF. Second, when I enlarge and enhance your pic, it looks like there might be some smoothing of the metal where the date should be, but better pics would definitely help us to figure out what you have there.

Even with the sm. pic, the horiz. abrasion marks are obvious.
