Speaking of Kansas, a neighbor just gave me a bottle of Kansas wine yesterday. Now THAT is scary.

And as it turns out, yes, as the crow flies my coin was minted within 1400 miles of Theorosa's Bridge.

Yikes! Sorry I missed your question @loonie (I am going to blame it on the lack of coffee).

Yes, this coin is majority silver.

Quel horreur! This coin was not minted in the same country as Amityville, NY.

Recap:

This coin bears a date after the Salem Witch Trials (1693), the Female Ghost painting (1850), the appearance of the St. Augustine Monster (1896) and CHarles Stanton Ogle's portrayal of Frankenstein (1910), but before H.P. Lovecraft's publication introducing the Cthulhu MOnster (1928)

This coin is not from Europe, but was minted between the Prime Meridian and the 180th meridian, though not from either the country containing Amityville, NY, or the country that celebrates the Day of the Dead. It was minted less than 1400 miles from central Kansas.

This coin is mostly silver.

Hint: Canada might still be in play (I know they have some kind of Thanksgiving up there, but have they heard of Halloween )

Yes. The kids would scream if we didn't.

I get to sleep in on Wednesday .

Indeed, this coin was minted in Canada (the home of Michael Dallas John Albert Green), and bears a denomination greater than 6.

Well, someone from this thread was able to disable my internet access 6 days ago and it is just now back up and running. You people will do anything to keep me from winning a round. I haven't been without internet access for that long since I used AOL dial-up. It's amazing the things you can get accomplished when you're not surfing the web all day.

Just to put you all on notice, I am back with a vengeance!

No more Mister Nice Guy!
