1. This coin is not from the USA. 2. This coin was minted before 1845. 3. This coin was minted after 1776. 4. This coin is not from Europe. Hint #1: It may have been struck in Europe but was meant to be used in a European colony. 5. Minted after 1800. 6. This coin was meant to be used somewhere in the Americas.

Was this coin meant to be used primarily north of Panama City, Panama?

So I'm assuming that the coin has the name of the country (colony) on it, not just the colonizing empire. Fortunately or unfortunately, there were a lot of different types of coins circulating north of Panama during this time period. Many of them were not colony-specific issues, though.
