Was this coin minted before 1750? Might as well work a little on the date since it looks like we still have a 200 year span.

From Wikipedia:

...sometimes referred to as Canon and Gigue in D or Canon in D.

Neither the date nor the circumstances of its composition are known (suggested dates range from 1680 to 1706)


So based on this info, I am going to say no, Pachelbel had not written his Canon in D Major when this coin was struck.

Austria was the Archduchy of Austria at this time, and since it was issued under Leopold I we don't need to worry about the location other than perhaps the city.
