Maybe you guys are already on this, but the clue makes it sound like Cayman Islands are a possibility ...

tdziemia, your input has been priceless, but you won't take the crown. Fair enough. This trait reminds me of a good coach who sets his team up for a win, then sits back and revels in the moment.

As Gamemaster, I here by decree, you shall be called "Coach" for the remainder of this thread.

Besides, I have to look up how to spell your name every time I use it. Coach is so much easier. .

No. I don't think any Cayman Island coins have fish on them.

I think keith12 has eliminated 50 Cents 1972-82, and maybe all the 5 cents denominations (shellFISH).

Hi everyone. I'm back from vacation. It looks like we are going to need a ruling from the gamemaster.

I had that same thought. Because "less than $1" (different than not greater than $1), combined with an earlier comment narrows things down considerably ... though there are still lots of dates after 1975.

I admit I missed the 50 cent, but yes, the denomination is less than 1 dollar. It seems to me that leaves 25, 10, 5, 1 cents left. By my definition, none of these coins have fish on them. .

I feel generous, so I'll drop another hint. The Mint holds more information than just a place to make coins. .

If there is any more confusion, I'll do my best to straighten you guys out.
