Ok good to know that we have a US coin minted between 1900 and 1960.
Was it minted after 1930?

Is it a non-standard issue commemorative? By that I mean, a coin specifically minted to be resold as a commem. Not a standard issue for circulation, i.e. State Quarter.

To the other contestants ...
I think except for the Daniel Boone issue, the commemorative halves 1930-36 are connected to a place. Ruling out places west or south of the Appalachians (Oregon Trail, Texas, Arkansas, California, Old SPanish Trail, Cleveland, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Elgin IL, Bay Bridge) would rule out a little under half. So I'll ask the question to narrow by geography:
Does this coin pertain to a place east of the Appalachians, but not to a place west or south, or a person associated with those places (as in the above list)?

@Keith I'm not sure how to take your last answer. Should Tdziemia be offended?
