i believe this 1997 penny is brass plated. its a bright yellow color. take a look and tell me what yall think and if its worth anything?

I don't believe there is brass plating over the copper plating which covers the zinc core... just toning...and spots and fingerprints.

At best? worst? it might be zinc poisoning of the plating bath.
