Doubled Die obverse, it's a highly sought after mint error. Google images, check it out.

And this, I'm straining to see the 'spread' or even extra thickness. Did coneca describe any die markers for identification? (I'll look tomorrow morning, about to go to bed) if it has, please photograph and upload them too.

John Wexler says every quarter made from 1951-54 is doubled bc they used the same doubled master hub for those years. Varieties vary greatly bc of wear on working dies, hubs...etc. So there's my one DDO for the day lol

DDO-001 is a proof coin, this cannot be it. I don't see any doubling on your coin.

I don't see any doubling either, to be honest, but I understand that these days "fat" is often good enough.

Better not make posts like these anymore. You're gonna go broke in no time!

I don't see any doubling either, but what do I know I still call Machine Doubling a legit doubled die

Cheers

Ps seems like we are splitting 10 grand. I'll take my portion via PayPal

Ok this isn't a DDO-001 proof, it's a WMHO-001 and Wexler says it is doubled

In this case, it looks like DDO stands for Double Dirty Obverse

Well, you only posted one image and it's not of the area that is affected by the doubled master hub. So yes, no one can tell that it is doubled.

I don't see a DDO in the one image. It is certainly the doubled working hub but you didn't post a pic of it.

Also a doubled master hub is not a DDO, although they will look the same. DDO / DDR = Doubled working die
