I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea. I do enjoy the toners. I came across this on an early morning search and picked it up on my pursuit of a toned proof Liberty nickel set and also fills the 2nd toned coin to my 1898 set. I had to offer a little less with the spot formations, but had to get it to fill the slot. These are the seller's photos. I will take some of my own upon arrival without the light. But for now...have a gander.

Proof Libs are addictive. Especially considering their value when purchased in proof.

I did a complete 1897 set for my paternal grandfather's birth year. Any reason why you picked 1894?

1898 Moxking. No reason other than I found one colorfully toned which complimented my 1898 IHC proof toned as well. The ol' rattler holder helped in the decision as well. I have proofs for 1891, 1892, now an 1898, a 1905, and a raw proof for 1906. They are addictive. I will be on the lookout for them if I can find toned ones to compliment my IHC proofs. But now that I have 3 PCGS graded ones in the 1890s I will probably concentrate on those first to fill the slots.

Lovely looking coin Doc.

I see the newcomer Csewell has revived this as a zombie thread.

@ Csewell - you are too new to the CCF to inquire about a purchase. Please review the rules you agreed to when you signed up.
