I've seen plenty of 1984 quarters with the "IN" messed up but this 1 has the "E" and "TR" messed up too. It also has a minor collar thing going on and a globby "P". Is it a plain old quarter or something more interesting?

Thank you in advance for responses, everyone was very helpful on my last posting. Coin community made me feel very

Glad you're here.

You seem to understand coins! This looks like it's slightly misaligned on the obverse. Is the reverse centered? The die had struck lots of coins at this point and was showing it's age. A broken post in the mint mark has filled in the P. It is an interesting coin just because of all of the problems. I don't think it would have any value over face. 25¢

It's a great example of a Very Late Die State coin. I would keep it for reference.

The reverse is centered and has nothing unusual going on. Thanks for the confirmation! Might pick up a roll of coins today just for fun.
