I'd have a hard time spending 30-50 dollars to have a coin graded that was only worth one dollar. Doesn't make sense to me.

The answer is no, it's not getting it graded by a TPG! Save your money. Not worth the grading fees, as it will exceed the value of what your coin is actually worth.
