I bought this a few days ago at a coin show. It was from a little box of mixed constitutional silver. This one jumped out at me, despite the damage on the obverse, as a decent coin. I paid $6. Did I do okay? Thanks!

Looks au58 to me. Nice.

Not sure what obverse damage you are referring to.

Thanks! Damage is The little dings from another Reeded coin. Top right of the sun's ray near the dress. Will that bring it down?

it is just a bagmark from banging against another coin. it will not details the coin or designate it as damaged. congrats on a great coin for below melt value.

Mid-AU, with minor contact marks. Small hits like these would limit the grade on a Mint State coin but are trivial for an AU piece.

Nice pick-up and an excellent price!
Rest in Peace

Phew! Thanks everyone. I thought I would get details for the dings. Considering everything else in the box was worn, I was satisfied with this one. Appreciate all the help!
