I found a penny that I think may have the double ear. Could someone share some thoughts on it?

Thanks in advance.

We'll need a clearer and more in focus picture of the ear.

to the CCF!

A clearer picture would be more helpful. I can't give a solid opinion with the photo provided.

Here is what a 1997 doubled ear looks like:

Thank you for the info. The strike is definitely off center and the penny is thinner on one side but I had hoped it was a double ear. Even tho it's not I'm still having fun looking at coins and learning more about them.

Thanks

Not a doubled ear. Just a normal coin. There is a good marker for the 1997 DDO:
