Can someone help me to verify that this is a 1987 p misplaced mint mark or am I wrong?

Since mintmarks were handpunched into the dies until 1990, mintmark positions and locations varied on each one. No premium for this, since all coins struck by this die will have it.

I think he was talking about what looks like a P mintmark in the field at 3:00. It does look like a P but I suspect it is a die chip.
