1970 S Lincoln Memorial Cent Error?

I have been searching coins for a few months now and still don't have an eye for how to tell if something is an error. And I think you did great on this one. You didn't find it in the CherryPickers' Guide because it was not an error or a variety. Even though the CherryPickers' Guide identifies a lot of VARIETIES and ERRORS it is not all inclusive. As for finding varieties, if anything looks odd or out of place don't hesitate and post it here.
