Hello CCF! Does this look like DDO? I compared this cent to another 2019 and this one "looks" slightly fatter but I might be seeing things. Always appreciate your valuable feedback! If it is a doubled die. Are they common? Cheers

Hey @R2018, it looks to me like the date has shelf-like doubling typical of MD (rather than being a doubled-die).

Thanks for feedback Spence. What about the word Liberty?

First date pic shows classic MD.

Quote: What about the word Liberty? I don't see any doubling there, but do note that you seem to have a single strong light source to the right of the coin when you are photographing. The glare can sorta look like doubling.

I see some slight extra thickness on the date and LIBERTY, it is a minor DDO. Left side of the Y is thicker than the other. There may also be slight MD on the date, but that could just be a lighting effect.

I agree with Tanman. I thought it was a minor DDO, but didn't say anything until I got Tanman's input on it.

Thank you Tanman and EV! Appreciate your feedback. I can definitely see slight difference in in date and Liberty (especially letter T appears to be fatter up top compared to other 2019)

By the way, looking at the coin under glass I can't see Machine Doubling at all. As Spence mentioned it might've been the light source that made it appear to have MD. Thank you for checking out my thread and giving me your valuable feedback. Always appreciate it and hungry for knowledge from you fellas! Cheers

Rookie2018, if you want to (I would suggest you do to do it), you can send it to Tanner Scott for attribution. Attributions are free and you only have to pay return postage cost. Here's his website, if you're wondering. http://crdievarieties.com/doku.phpIf you do proceed with that decision, PM Tanner Scott. I'm pretty sure that he would love to take a look at it.

EV, I appreciate your suggestion, however, this is such a minor DDO it's not even worth it. I would like to find a nice one and then send it in for attribution. Cheers
