Greetings to All,
I think I either need to have my eye prescription checked or stop looking at coins for awhile. I would greatly appreciate if someone can take a look and edumacate me on the following as it pertains to the attached photos.

a) I came across this 1969-S Penny and to the best of my eye-sight, I am seeing multiple over lapping Mint Marks.

b) In the Obverse view, do I see Machine Doubling in the lettering and in Lincoln's profile?

Thank you so much in advance.

Regards,

I only see a normal coin that has seen very heavy circulation wear and flattening.

The area you are looking at for the D is a stain and not a D mintmark.

I would suggest to all new coin collectors looking for error to get THE book. The Official Price Guide to Mint Errors by Alan Herbert. Read the Minting Process, follow by other chapters. It would weed out a lot of possible errors or varieties most believe one have on hand.
