I'm a bit jumpy right now, I was looking through some old wheat pennies that I had, I already looked through them before but I thought I would do it again and BANG! 1924 D right in my face! This is a pricey one, wondering how much though and the grade, my guess is VG-8, around $40? Not entirely for sure, thanks!

Well, nevertheless, it's a mark off of the checklist I have for LWC's, so good for me.
Rest in Peace

Nice find, SilverCents! I'd love to stumble onto one of those in a pile of Lincolns. It's one of the 5 I'm still lacking for the set.

I agree with the G06 crowd. Probably want to treat the "green leprosy" ASAP.

I'm afraid that reverse is a goner . It's not verdigris or anything else that will disappear with a solution . Unfortunately that's corrosion , you can make it look better but you can't fix it 100% . I'm sure it will always be a details coin .

You can try Verdi-care, but the end result will probably be a stable but still-discolored area of a different color.
