There is an obvious error in the reference section of the usmint.gov website ; specifically the section "Production and Sales Figures, Historical Commemorative Coin Sales" 1983-84 coins. The four Proof (PDSW) Eagles and the Business strike W-Mint version are listed as "Gold $5 Dollar". So 5 errors really. The page was last updated 2-1/2 years ago and has never been corrected.

Let customer service know. I've reported a few errors that were changed the following Tuesday, which was pretty impressive.

If they're listing PSDW Eagles under 1983-1984, that in itself is an error, correct? I haven't been to the website to look but definitely will at some point - didn't even know they had listings like that.

No, that's not the error.

In this case Eagle is the old term for a $10 gold piece and NOT an American Gold Eagle bullion coin.

The Olympics commemorative gold coins were $10 coins and not the more common $5 Half Eagle commemorative gold coins. The Mint's webpage is incorrectly calling these commemorative coins $5 coins and not the $10 coin they actually are.

There have been other $10 commemorative coins -- in 2000 (Library of Congress, actually it was gold and platinum) and 2003 (Wright Brothers First Flight Centennial).
