In GSA holder. When I tilt it a bit it looks prooflike because at about 20 inches I can see my face in the fields.

Btw am I doing myself any favours photographing my coins with a macro lens? Should I use a normal lense for grading purposes because with the macro detail some stuff looks super harsh when in hand there's almost nothing.

Bottom fifth of the pic slightly blurred unfortunately. Does that happen when the camera is not perfectly parallel to the coin?

the 81CC is known for full bold strikes so this one falls into that classification. the lighting and slight blur of the photos may be distorting the luster here. MS64+ good shot at 65. the marks on the profile are most likely just light contact bag marks

@ Panzaldi

It's lustrous. I took pictures of a couple of coins in a little lightbox but the light was so strong that I blocked it to get indirect lighting otherwise it would've been difficult to see the details.

Is there a way I can post a cellphone vid? Might be better to capture the prooflike shine.

Looks like a solid 65, but the PL isn't evident from that photo.

Standing about 6 yards from the light source and it shows strong reflectivity.

Thanks for all the replies.

When sending in a GSA should the TPG be asked to grade in holder? Had the impression that some people pay a slight premium for the GSA holder?

Yes, they will grade the coin in the GSA holder and send it back to you intact. Let us know how it goes.
